The INSTITUTE OF HISPANIC CULTURE is celebrating EL DIA DE HISPANIDAD at Miller Outdoor Theater. This major annual event features some of the best dancers, music and performances from various Latin American countries.Volunteers are needed SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to pass out programs. If the volunteers want to stay for the performance, they get free seating at the front.
The INSTITUTE gives several scholarships every year. This is a great opportunity for ALC members to meet some of this wonderful organization's board members. ALC Board Member Polly Alam will be there and will be glad to introduce volunteers to Institute board members.
